Brian, I, and a Christian couple drove about an hour and a half to go to a church that was planted by a man named Ken at his home. The man is from Bangkok but felt that missionaries were not going to the rural villages to reach out to the lost. So he and his wife moved out to a small village about 5 years ago. He takes in a lot of the children and teens of the village, at one point he had around 50 kids coming, but due to opposition from the parents, the number has slightly decreased. Brian and I taught English to the kids before service to about 20-25 kids. Then service started and around 15 adults came, everyone ranging from a pastor of a local church, to people who have just become born again within the past month, to unbelievers. We first had worship, then people came up and shared testimonies about what God is doing in their lives. After that Brian and I got to come up. I shared shortly about how and why I am in Thailand right now, and then shared that God showed me no matter how different the two cultures are on opposite sides of the world, He is still the same, He still is transforming lives, setting people free, and working miracles. It was a great service. Brian was supposed to teach out of the Bible but felt from the Lord to go a different route. He preached on Mark 8 and how Jesus says that we must lose our life to save it. One young man came up after service and gave his life to the Lord. Afterwards we all went outside and had lunch and I got to talk to Ken some more about his heart for the Thai people.

Great pics, Sam! Do you have a photographer traveling with you? I love how we get to see you in action! Praise God for the wonderful fruit of a life given over to the Lord!
